Whimsybuilt LLC is a creative web design studio co-founded by Eva Marie Cole and Edward "EJ" Gall. We build custom websites, brands, and digital experiences for people who care about craft.

Based in New York, we combine creative vision with technical execution to build things worth building. From a civic education platform encouraging people to protect democracy and think beyond party lines, to a whole food recipe site with a custom shopping list generator — everything we do has a purpose beyond filling a market gap.

We also offer custom web design, branding, and UX consulting for clients who share our commitment to quality and craft. Every project we take on — whether it's our own work or a client's vision — gets the same attention to detail and the same UX-first approach.

The creative and technical force behind WhimsyBuilt. Eva handles design, development, branding, and day-to-day operations. With a background spanning three decades as a purchasing agent, a degree in business administration, graduate studies in fine art photography, and self-taught programming since the 1980s — she brings an unconventional, buyer-side perspective to every project she builds.

Edward "EJ" Gall

Co-Founder & Client Partner

EJ brings a marketing perspective and strategic eye to WhimsyBuilt. As co-founder and client partner, he serves as a sounding board for brand direction and is the friendly first point of contact for new client relationships.
